i've officially been back for a month!
back to blogging regularly.
Although i DO have a dead blog!

Been thinking of putting things up to sell on my blog.
Cos i have so much time on my hands..

And i discovered a passion in baking!!!
(hope my jelly hearts turn out good)

I've discovered so many things since i came home.

Finally blogging again..
I'M HOME!! =))
It feels so awesome to be back again,
same skyblue MG, study table, yummy food, bed, churchies, tennis babes...

The only difference is me,
because Melbourne has really helped me grow up,
opened my eyes to reality,
left me to my own defences..

The doubts that clouded my mind
have finally faded.
It was looking at the many letters,
that i thought would've long been thrown in the trash.
They were so cheerful,
full of life, and love.
Its as though the person who had written em' has faded to sepia,
but the writing still remains fresh and colorful.

Christmas is coming!!
ITs a time of forgiveness,
and as i make my new year resolutions,
I hope I'll keep to em' in 2008.
As i try, and i wait, patiently,
for you to come back.
If i fail,
i will try,try again.

Contrary to that,

I've been glued to crunchyroll,

streaming episodes of Hana Kimi.

Yeah,it seems like i'm turning into some cheena freak.

But the story line is really interesting..kinda like She's the Man!

Exams are in 2 weeks time....And all i can think about is drama serials, grey's, my 3 friends here who're still not in very good shape..And..you(for those of you who know already,Thanks for your listening ear).

Anw, Cheng Xun and Evangeline are cooking up a storm tomorrow!

And they took into account my low carb diet(AWWW..) I love you guys!And(if you're reading this Eliza, my dad REALLY texted me! Lol. i know him so well)

Good Luck to Claire(Alevels) and Dez(Olevels)! Do your best=) i know this seems like the worst period of your lives, but bear with it and it'll be over before u know it! At least you don't hafta go for classes anymore.. Haha. And there's always a great excuse to slack after that..

Lord of the Rings: return of the King is airing on channel seven.
Eliza's staying over at my house tonight,
And because both of us are Tv buffs,
we're watching it, talking, and buffering more movies online
at the same time!
Talk about multi tasking.

Haha. seriously, sometimes when you watch LOTR again,
you wonder why they have to make life so difficult for themselves.
Eg. Aragorn could've just asked the ghosts to fight till the end,
since they kill people so easily because they can't die!
Haha. random.

For those of you who do not know,
I have decided to discontinue my course in Melbourne Uni,
Well, there must be alot of questions running through your heads now,
And i am willing to answer them if any of you ask..
But, i guess,
i really lost my way here,
and i don't know what i'm pursuing anymore..
Also, missing my family has led to uncountable struggles for my here.
Only my close friends in Melbourne, who're with me everyday will be able to understand
as they are fully aware of the situation I am in.
Finally making the decision to go home
has lifted a burden from my shoulders.
A sense of relief takes over the struggle,pain,and confusion that was my life here,
for the past 4 months.
I thank God for finally mustering the courage to leave Melbourne,
after gaining the independence that I would never have learnt if I had stayed in Singapore.
I'm burnt out.
And i need time to recuperate,
to rethink my goals,
And, this time, its Singapore, for good=)

To my friends in Singapore who already know,
thank you so much for your support and welcoming me back:)
And to the few in Melbourne who've grown so close to my heart,
I love you all very much,
you guys have been with me, through the hardest period in my life yet.
And given me the courage to stand up to my fears,
to overcome the hardest battle with my mind.

Just had an epiphany while i was gyming.

You know how,
when you're running on the treadmill,
sometimes you just feel like you can't go on anymore,
but you're forcing yourself to,
because you think pushing yourself harder will result in more weight loss?
Instead, you get off with your feet wobbly
and you feel like you're going to puke?
So instead of losing more weight,
or feeling fitter,
you have the worst most pukesome feeling in the world?

That's kinda how Melbourne is right now.
I feel like i've lost my way,
and i cannot breathe.
Just watching the days go by,
and counting down to when my mom,aunt alice,sar,soph,dez and jo
come here on Nov 14 for a holiday=)
That's whats keeping me going.

I tried to adapt to Melbourne life,
and i realised,
All i've been doing, is subjecting myself to counting the minutes,
as they tick by,
just like on the treadmill,
and wishing for that 30minute mark, when i can finally go home.
To achieve so much more,
where my path seems so much more brightly lit.

But i Thank God for this opportunity in Melbourne.
Because now,
when i begin uni in singapore,
I will FINALLY know what i want,
and why i am there.
And i will appreciate every single thing that i am blessed with.

Plane ride+trip to the apartment took so long.5 starving teenagers rushed to the nearest eatery and had HUGE meals!.. billy baxters reminds me of billy bombers.. Eliza was about to faint from hunger..thank God her lasagne arrived just in time!..haha. Byron had the most to eat(as usual)..

Whee! At coolongatta the next day.. Hunted around for Safeway, so we could stock up our fridge..(yes, we ARE pigs, and we DO eat alot..) the boys decided to take a detour and 'challenge' the girls to a mini amazing race to see who'd reach woolworth's first. even if they reached first, we definitely were the better looking team(haha!)Coolongatta is like some pretty little suburb with nice old people around..its sucha sweet place to retire!honestly.. While we had breakfast at muffin break,there were just plenty of old couples walking around, having slow walks and breakfasts together.how sweet! waiting for the bus to take us back to the apartment, got ourselves 1.5l orange juice, big m choco and strawberry milk, arnott's bizkits...

PACIFIC FAIR!!.. huge huge shopping area..(note the excitement on our faces).. On our way to DFO, where Byron bought 3 tops for 20, and i got a valleygirl top and shorts for 4.50 each!.. heh.

And the shopaholics were at DREAMWORLD!!.. note: we went to dreamworld on the 3rd day.. i haven't got our movie world pictures from irina yet.. will upload em' another time.. Eliza and i, shocked at the Giant Drop. We seriously wanted to trade our dreamworld tix for seaworld.. something milder. Fuyee,especially, was in sucha laze-around, strictly-no-scary-rides mood.. After we blasted off on superman rollercoasters, and batman giant drops the day before at movie world. Lol~

The Western country layout of the entrance!.. okay, we kinda forced eliza to take this picture.. she always gets sabo-ed into things.. especially by the boys. Haha. basically they delight in her misery.. The poor girl must've felt like she was ready to be executed when she was stuck on the log ride with fuyee and byron, where they splashed her with water the whole way! Lol.

Our first ride!.. a 6-seater log ride.. where people randomly get wet..and poor irina got hit the hardest! haha.

GIANT drop. as you can see, it is VERY high. it seriously causes your legs to become jello just looking at it. You get dangled for an uncertain amount of time before the sudden freefall down 12000000000m. (byron is 1.81m, so go figure!)

The Claw! a new attraction at Dreamworld, its kinda like a viking, just 10000X more exciting and you get spun around as the ride goes on.. Woo!

Churros! yummyyummy. For the girl who never seems to get fat, ms eliza lim!.. haha. at the nickelodeon section of the theme park.. its new too!!.. Theres just sucha happy feel as you tour around, and time passes too quickly.. other rides we took included cyclone(a rollercoaster), wipeout,and loads of spinny rides which made us a lil' sick..

big brother house!..and cafe:D There was the set of where big brother was shot.. for those who don't know, big brother is a reality series which is really big in Aus. Includes all those people in the poster being thrown into a house and forced to live with one another, while doing anything and everything they are commanded to do, by a voice in the house, referred to as big brother. kinda silly, but without cable tv..you just gotta love it..haha.

Cowabungaaaa... reminiscing our trip to sal's farm..

Awww.. fuyee and irina.. he got the lil tiger cub for her.. they went to watch the tigers perform at tiger island while byron eliza and i took all the rides.. we actually got to PAT tiger cubs because we were lucky enough to run into the trainers walking them around the park!..

Alrighty, gonna turn in now! until next time.. movie world pics. and sunny surfers paradise beach you're gonna say 'wahhhhhh' to.. Haha!

Baked mini chocolate mudcakes which turned out pretty well!.. thanks to aunty yochana. you just gotta love her blog.. she should really set up her own stall..
